Although a little dated (2002), the Facilitator's Manual and accompanying Participant Manual provided a detailed guide through a workshop that aims to achieve the following objectives: a. Develop a shared understanding of Communities of Practice; b. Clarify the role of a facilitator of a CoP, including the differences between face-to-face facilitation and online facilitation; c. Begin to develop skills in facilitating online Communities of Practice; d. Learn how to set up an online Community using Yahoo!Groups; e.
