Media archiving
This are currently two units available in this module.
Unit overview: This unit provides an introduction to digital
archiving and issues to take into consideration when planning an
archive. It is aimed primarily at community media producers, but should
be of wider interest.
Duration: 3-4 hours
Target audience: Particularly audio and
video producers, community multimedia centres managers, community
radio/TV managers; also of more general use.
Prerequisite skills: Understanding of
basics of digital media.

Duration: 1.5 hours. If information workshop only - 20 mins.
Target audience: Organisations (NGOs, radio stations, community
multimedia centres) using audio in their work.
Prerequisite skills: Basic computer skills, knowledge of
creating digital audio (unless this unit is combined with the
Introduction to Digital Editing unit).
